Consent for the collection and use of personal information

Any information used for identifying individuals that is acquired by University of Seoul (or UOS) will be stored, used and/or analyzed only within the scope of UOS activities, and in accordance with UOS’s policy and regulations.

UOS may provide and disclose the collected information aforesaid to a third party in accordance with UOS’s policy and regulations, with the relevant laws of Korea, or upon the request from the Government of Korea.

UOS reserves the right to use all the documents or products produced by participants for the purpose of the Fellowship Program including their duplication, translation, distribution, and posting on websites UOS’s website or other websites related to Korean ODA.

UOS takes measures required to prevent leakage, loss, or destruction of acquired information. Should you wish to inquire further about UOS’s privacy policy and personal information management, please contact the program manager via the contact information provided in your Program Information (PI).

* Third Parties include Seoul Metropolitan Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, and institutions in cooperation with UOS.

Consent for the collection and use of identification information

In order to process applicants and complete the admissions process, University of Seoul may require the collection and use of e-identification information (alien registration number, passport number, etc.).

* You have a right to disagree the collection and use of e-identification information. If you do not agree to the collection and use of personal information, your application cannot be processed.

Prohibition clause of false application

Application on a false pretense constitutes obstruction of business and is punishable under the criminal law.

If an applicant’s eligibility credentials prove to be false, his/her admission offer/enrollment will be withdrawn.
