Eligibility
  1. 1) Nationality: international students whose parents are both foreign nationals

    Excluding dual citizens, including Korean nationality, and stateless persons

    Recognized if both the student and parents acquired foreign nationality before the student entered high school

  2. 2) Academic background
     
    Category Basic academic requirements
    Freshman students Graduates (or expected graduates) of regular high schools in Korea or abroad, or those recognized as having equivalent or higher academic qualifications under the law
    Transfer students
    • Those who have completed at least two years (four semesters, excl. summer/winter terms) at a regular four-year university in Korea or abroad (incl. three-year universities in the U.K.) and have earned (or are expected to earn) at least half of the credits required for a bachelor's degree (two-thirds for three-year U.K. universities)
    • Graduates (or expected graduates) of regular junior colleges in Korea or abroad

      Successful transfer applicants will enter as third-year students

    GED, homeschooling, cyber learning, language schools, etc., in Korea or abroad are not recognized as regular educational programs
