Types of visas

  • Foreign members affiliated with the UOS must obtain the following visas according to their status and period of stay.

D-4 (Training)
  • Korean language trainees (D-4-1)
  • Trainees at institutions excluding university-affiliated language institutes (foreign investment companies, etc.)
  • High school or lower grade students

  • Foreign language trainees (D-4-7)
Visa issuance procedure

  1. Submit application form

  2. Receive admission letter

  3. Apply for visa

  4. Visa interview

  5. Visa issuance

Visa application and submission
  • Original passport and copy
  • 1 passport-sized photo taken within the last 6 months
  • Admission letter
  • Financial statement (e.g., bank balance certificate, scholarship award certificate)
  • Study plan
  • Health certificate (required for some countries)
