IMPORTANT NOTES

Housing Guarantee

  • UOS guarantees on-campus housing only for exchange students whose universities guarantee on-campus housing for UOS students.
  • ISEP students are assigned to stay on-campus housing.

Housing Availability

  • Due to a shortage of dormitory rooms, UOS cannot guarantee on-campus housing for all partner universities. Please confirm your housing options with your home university coordinator before completing the UOS online application.

Dormitory Allocation Announcement

  • The dormitory allocation results will be announced one to two months before the semester begins, after confirmation from the dormitory office.

Required Documents to submit

  • A Certificate of Health (either Chest X-ray result or TB test result)
  • Certificate of MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella) * full two-dose series of the MMR vaccine

Extension During Vacations

  • Extensions are possible during vacations. Detailed information will be announced by UOS OIA right before the semester ends.

Dormitory Fees (as of 2024)

  • Fees for Regular Semester (about 4 months)

    • International House (single occupancy):1,048,000 KRW
    • Residence Hall (double occupancy): 728,000 KRW

  • Fees for Vacation (about 2 months)

    • International House (single occupancy): 524,000 KRW
    • Residence Hall (double occupancy): 364,000 KRW

Facility Details

Room Type

Room Type of Residence Hall

  • Each room of double occupancy, 15 rooms on each of the 7 floors
  • 1 room for 2 people, using public toilets/shower rooms in corridors.

Room Type of International House

  • Each unit with 2 rooms / 3 rooms / 4 rooms / 5 rooms of single occupancy
  • There is a toilet/shower inside the house and it is shared with the housemates

Remarks

  • In both housings, male and female sections are segregated
  • Allocation will be done on random basis.
  • Fees are payable on arrival at UOS. The dormitory office will give the bill to students when checking in, so you need to make a payment later by due date.

How to apply

  • For regular semester, students are required to apply it through the UOS online application system.
