Basis for tuition refund

Article 88 of the UOS Regulations (Tuition Refund and Carryover)
- Tuition that has already been paid will not be refunded. However, in the case of overpayment, the corresponding amount will be refunded.
- Tuition paid will be refunded in any of the following cases:
- If admission (including readmission and transfer) is not possible due to laws or university regulations, or if the student cannot continue their studies
- If an individual who has been granted admission expresses the intention to forgo enrollment
- If a currently enrolled student expresses the intention to withdraw
- If a student on a leave of absence is processed for de-registration due to not returning to school
- If the individual is unable to enroll or continue their studies due to personal illness, death, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances
- If the student takes a leave of absence after paying the tuition
- The refund amount based on the preceding provisions shall be categorized as follows:

When calculating the refund amount, it is categorized based on the date of occurrence of the refund reason using the actual amount paid by the student, excluding scholarship amounts.
Students who have paid tuition can only apply for a tuition refund after taking a leave of absence for the semester in which the tuition was paid, and those who are full tuition scholars for that semester or qualified for alternative registration (tuition carryover) are excluded from the application eligibility.
