Eligibility
- If you wish to study at a university (D-2) after completing language training (D-4)
Application period
- Apply for a change of residence status before engaging in activities corresponding to the undergraduate study (D-2) residence status.
Required documents
- Integrated application form
- Copy of passport
- Original alien registration card
- One passport-sized photo
- Fee: ₩130,000
- Standard admission permit
- Certificate of tuition payment
- Original document certifying the highest level of education (choose one: Apostille, consular verification, or education certificate (for China))
- Financial proof documents (for Hanseong University language program graduates: a balance certificate of $10,000; for graduates from other universities’ language programs: a balance certificate of $20,000 or more, issued within the last 30 days from a domestic bank in the applicant’s name)
- Proof of residence documents (such as lease agreements, accommodation confirmation, etc.)
- Certificate of attendance and transcript from the language institute (to be submitted upon request)
Instructions
- Individual application: Prepare the above documents and visit the relevant immigration office to apply (pre-reservation on hikorea is required).
- Group application: After successful candidates have been announced, the school will announce group application submissions → Prepare the above documents and visit the International Student Support Team to apply.
