Readmission
Eligibility and qualifications
- Students who have withdrawn or been expelled according to the university regulations may be granted readmission once, provided there are available slots, if they meet the following criteria.
- Students who have been dismissed for not registering or not resuming studies (excluding those who withdrew during disciplinary action) and have had at least one semester elapsed after dismissal before the start date of the semester for which they are applying for readmission.
- Students who have a grade point average of less than 3.0(B0) for the previous two semesters or who have been dismissed after exceeding the maximum enrollment period without earning the minimum required credits for graduation, and have had at least two semesters elapsed after dismissal before the start date of the semester for which they are applying for readmission.
- Students who have withdrawn or been dismissed may be granted readmission once, provided there are available slots within the enrollment capacity of the affiliated graduate school for the current academic year, after subtracting the number of currently enrolled students.
- Students who have been dismissed due to disciplinary action are not eligible for readmission.
Applications
- Duration : Early June for the 1st semester / Early December for the 2nd semester (the dates are subject to change)
- Submission : Corresponding department office
- Required documents : Readmission application form (prescribed format), oath form (prescribed format), transcript, copy of academic records
Note
- Students must register for the current semester after readmission.
- Readmission is only allowed once (even if a student gives up after being accepted for readmission, they cannot apply for readmission again)
- Students who are denied readmission despite available slots may be granted readmission once after a one-year period.
- Students who have been readmitted after being dismissed due to exceeding the maximum enrollment period must complete their coursework within 2 years (4 semesters) for a master’s program and 3 years (6 semesters) for a doctorate's program, excluding the leave of absence period.
- The leave of absence period for readmitted students will be calculated by summing the periods before and after readmission.
