General admission degree programs

Master
  • Individuals who have obtained a bachelor's degree from domestic or foreign universities or those expected to obtain a degree upon completion of the current registered semester
  • Individuals recognized as having equivalent or higher academic qualifications under relevant laws
Doctorate
  • Individuals who have obtained a master's degree from domestic or foreign universities or those expected to obtain a degree upon completion of the current registered semester
  • Individuals recognized as having equivalent or higher academic qualifications under relevant laws
Eligibility for master's/doctorate's
Support for North Korean defectors
  • Individuals qualified to apply for master's or doctorate's program
  • Individuals registered as North Korean defectors pursuant to the North Korean Defectors Protection and Settlement Support Act

  • Research proposal (must include desired major field)

Minimum publication requirements for doctoral dissertation

  • At least 2 papers published as first author in journals listed by the National Research Foundation of Korea (KCI) or higher
  • Or at least 1 paper published as first author in SCI(E) listed journals or higher

    ※ For Scopus, papers written in Korean correspond to KCI level / papers written in English correspond to SCI(E) level
