Educational objectives

Core objectives The main core objective is to cultivate innovative talents who can provide safety, mobility, convenience, and eco-friendly services in smart future cities, thereby spreading into job creation and entrepreneurship. In particular, it aims to cultivate smart city innovative talents capable of promoting mobility, safety and disaster prevention, energy and environment, and urban regeneration more intelligently.

Majors (track)

Smart Mobility Education on knowledge and case studies to solve traffic problems arising in smart cities through various advanced mobility technologies such as autonomous vehicles, future public transport systems, and big data-based intelligent transportation systems.
Smart Urban Regeneration Education on the development of urban planning systems utilizing data, artificial intelligence, and simulation, support for urban regeneration and development, forecasting housing and real estate markets, and scientific analysis and systematic management methods of urban spaces.
Smart Energy and Environment Education on various methods to examine issues related to energy, environment, and urban infrastructure for the creation of sustainable smart cities, as well as planning and managing actual sustainable cities.
Smart Safety and Disaster Prevention Education on smart city disaster prevention design and related content necessary to minimize the impact of safety accidents and disaster damages while creating a resilient smart city against large-scale disaster risks
Smart Spatial Information Education on various methodologies regarding the establishment and utilization of spatial information big data for the creation of sustainable smart cities.
