Educational objectives

Core objectives The Department of Urban Big Data Convergence Studies aims to cultivate innovative talents in urban big data that will lead the big data era, based on computer science, electronic electrical computer engineering, statistics, mechanical information engineering, spatial information engineering, transportation engineering, civil engineering, sports science, and health sciences. It leads education and research related to urban big data.
Detailed objectives The Department of Urban Big Data Convergence Studies aims to cultivate talents who can understand and conduct research on the analysis and processing of ultra-large urban big data produced and collected in urban environments in light of the growing importance of big data in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. It provides interdisciplinary courses in urban and IT fields based on big data subjects grounded in statistics and computer engineering, covering the entire series of steps from acquisition, analysis, processing, to application.
