Division of General Physics
The Division of General Physics offers fundamental courses helping undergraduate students develop intuitions for nature as well as abilities to understand the science and technology. Physics and Experiment 1 and Physic and Experiment 2 courses mainly deal with classical physics such as mechanics, electromagnetics and optics in lectures and by doing experiments. And Understanding Modern Physics course covers basic knowledge of quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity. Man, Universe and Civilization class helps students understand recent scientific technologies in addition to the basic principle of equipments used in real life
