Division of General Biology
The Division of General Biology offers lectures and laboratories covering various basicmodern biological fields to students with diversified majors who have general interests to biology.We cover various basic biological fields at various levels, including understanding the structure ofbasic unit of life, cell; understanding macro-organic molecules that comprise cell and theirmetabolism; understanding the structure of genetic material and the principal of inheritance;understanding the principal of recombinant DNA technology and biotechnology and the social issuesrelated to them; understanding the structure and function of various animal and plant organ systemsat the molecular cellular level.
