Introduction
Division of General Chemistry
Generally, chemistry treats about the matter and its changes. Matter exhibits bulk assemblies consisting of individual constituents (atoms, ions and molecules) so that it shows many kinds of physical and chemical properties in equilibria, which are macroscopic phenomena. Furthermore, the detailed properties of individual matter are stemed from the electronic, molecular and crystal structures of matter forming by chemical bonding of the microscopic constituents. These subjects are discussed with the language of thermodynamics and quantum chemistry, at basic level. Our course provide a firm foundation in chemical concepts and principles while presenting a broad topics in clear, concise manner.
