▶ 66th Urban Infra Forum ◀
Urban Infra Forum(UIF) is a monthly seminar of ISUS. The seminar is a discussion forum on urban sciences covering contemporary issues on urban development, construction and infrastructure development, environmental policies, and international cooperation. Regular audience includes faculty and students of ISUS and members of University of Seoul are also invited. This Forum has served as a platform for international networking and mutual learning among public-private and Korean and international experts.
In the 66th Forum, Soon-man Hong, Former CEO of KORAIL(Korean Railroad Corporation) will speak about "Transit Oriented Urban Forms and Sustainable Transportation Policy and Technology“ We are looking forward to your participation to this online event.

-Lecture Summary:
Transit, public transportation, is a strong option to solve the issues on global warming, air pollution and traffic congestion. There are many ways to utilize transit to solve those issues. Those are the transit friendly urban form, the increase in speed, capacity and network of transit system, the development of transit technology, strong transit oriented policy and support.
