International Development Cooperation

The Department of International Development Cooperation aims to cultivate talents equipped with specialized knowledge and global networks that can respond to the increasing demand for international development cooperation projects in the era of global cooperation, contributing to advanced policy sharing and the activation of ODA. The Department of International Development Cooperation fosters international development cooperation professionals in urban sectors by providing an understanding of the key areas of major projects, based on the processes and financing of international development cooperation projects, and through overseas internships, covering land, housing, transportation, energy, environment, water, public administration, and governance.

Educational objectives
  • Providing a network platform for research, practice, and human connections in the field of international development cooperation for sharing urban policies of Seoul and mutual development of developing countries Training international development cooperation professionals equipped with theoretical foundations, specialized knowledge, practical capabilities, and human networks that contribute to the activation of the ODA ecosystem
Eligibility
  • Individuals who have obtained or are expected to obtain a bachelor’s degree from a domestic or overseas accredited university
Master’s degree
  • Master of International Urban Sciences
Education period
  • 2 years (4 semesters), evening classes, weekend classes (Saturday)
