We cordially invite you to participate in the Master of Urban Development and Smart Infrastructure Policy; MUDSIP) With International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK) of the International Urban Development Program (IUDP) at the UOS starting in August 2024. Please refer to the Admission Guideline as below (or the attached).

MUDSIP(Master of Urban Development and Smart Infrastructure Policy) is the same as the existing MIPD(Master of Infrastructure Planning and Develpment) In Cooperation course, but it is a reorganized course centered on urban development and smart infrastructure policy courses.  

 

> About the Department of MUDSIP

As part of the MOLIT ODA business, the training program provides opportunities to public officials from designated partner countries of Korea to gain first-hand knowledge of Korea’s development. The purpose of this program is to enhance their ability to improve quality of their citizens' lives by providing world-class theoretical knowledge and Korea's practical experiences in smart infrastructure and territorial development.

 

> Qualification 

1.      Citizenship: Be a citizen of the scholarship program target countries.

2.      Level of Education: Have a completed Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.

3.      Government Nomination: Be officially nominated or endorsed by his/her government.

-   Be a government official or a public sector employee whose work is closely related to smart infrastructure and physical development (three or more years of experience preferred)

4.      English Proficiency: Have a sufficient command of both spoken & written English to take classes conducted entirely in English.

5.      Health: Be in good health, both mentally and physically, to stay in Korea for their program period.

6.      AGE: Be 45 years old or younger at the time of the application.

7.      Applicants should have not previously participated in a scholarship program (graduate program) supported by the Korean government.

8.      Applicants should agree to return to his/her home country on completion of study under this program.

 

> Financial Support

The Following expenses will be covered by MOLIT & UOS

     - Tuition & Dormitory fees

     - Economy class, round-trip airfare between Seoul and the participant's home country

     - Monthly living allowance based on MOLIT guidelines

     - Others to be covered: A medical checkup after arrival /Official field trip expenses

- Document Review : June 23 ~ June 24, 2024
- Online Interview : June 26 ~ July 3, 2024
- Final Admission Decision : July 5, 2024
- Arrival in Korea : August, 2024
