Peer Advocate
Peer Advocate refers to volunteers who help international students studying at UOS as exchange students during summer vacation with their life in Korea.
Through Peer Advocate activities, enrolled students can help international students and have opportunities to naturally mingle with international students, contributing to expanding international exchanges between UOS and overseas universities as civilian diplomats, and feel rewarded by playing a role representing our country
Information
Eligibility
- Undergraduate students of UOS
- Those with a strong spirit of volunteer service
- Those with a high sense of responsibility and participation, and who have an active and sociable personality
- Those who can speak foreign languages
- Those who can participate in and devote themselves to education and preparation activities during vacation
Activities
- Supporting school life such as course registration before international students' arrival
- Mandatory attendance at PA training session, English lecture, etc.
- Planning and operating various events (e.g., welcome party, farewell party, exchange events) and cultural experiences with international students
- Helping and guiding overall settlement and adaptation of international students, etc.
