Course Registration
Once you are admitted to the University of Seoul as an exchange student, the coordinators of the OIA office will contact you directly and assist you with your course registration. You may register a course or drop a course online during the course change period, the first week of each semester. Normally, course registration and changes are done through the website at http://wise.uos.ac.kr. Unfortunately, since all the instructions are in Korean, you are advised to ask for your UOS Buddy’s help.
Notice
- You must print out your confirmed course registration results shown on the computer screen of the online registration and submit it to your coordinator after the course change period ends.
- Please check if your name is on the final class rosters.
- If you do not follow the academic regulations and fail to confirm your online registration during this period, you will be responsible for any failure in taking a course and acquiring credits or dropping a course.
Courses Only for Exchange Students Offered by OIA office
All of the exchange students are strongly recommended to take Korean language courses and at least one course in Asian studies. You will be arranged to the Korean language courses on the basis of your Korean language proficiency. Asian Studies courses will be taught in English. Korean Language Courses cannot be registered by students online. OIA office will register your Korean Language courses collectively within the online course change period.
Notice
- Please make sure that other courses registered do not coincide with Korean Language courses when you make any changes. In case you took Korean language level test, your schedule could be changed according to the result of the test.
- Graduates students are not able to do the online course registration with these courses offered by OIA office. Please let your coordinator know if you take these courses.
Regular Courses Offered in English and in Korean
Some of the regular courses are offered in English, but many of them are in Korean. Some classes cannot be accessed because of academic regulations or class size. If this happens to you, you will need permission from the professor of the course. Please contact your coordinator at the OIA office for assistance concerning these matters. You can ask your UOS buddy where your classrooms are.

1Incheon International Airport
By Limousine Bus from Incheon International Airport
You are advised to find the bus stop "5B” at the exit of Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 and the bus stop “No.34” of Terminal 2.
The limousine, #6002, will take you to Cheongryangni, the bus's final destination. The fare of limousine is 17,000 KRW. You may
1) Get off at the Cheongryangni stop and take a taxi or take a bus to the University of Seoul, or 2) Wait a little while until the bus heads to the next stop and the next stop will be University of Seoul.By Taxi/Call Van from Incheon International Airport
From the airport, it costs approximately 80,000 - 90,000 KRW by taxi up for 4 people to the University of Seoul. The fare of regular taxi starts from 4,800 KRW, while deluxe taxis start from 6,500 KRW.By Subway from Incheon International Airport
You will have to make a transfer at Seoul station (line1). -
2Kimpo International Airport
By Subway from Kimpo International Airport
If your flight arrives at Kimpo International Airport you are advised to use subway (Line 5). Get off at Dapsimni station which is the closest station from University of Seoul and take a taxi to the University of Seoul at Exit 3 or 4. The taxi fare from Dapsimni station to the University of Seoul (pronounced 'Seoul Sirip Dae-hak-kyo', 서울시립대학교 in Korean) is around 7,000 KRW.

From the airport, it costs approximately 40,000 - 50,000 KRW by taxi up for 4 people to the University of Seoul. The fare of regular taxi starts from 4,800 KRW, while deluxe taxis start from 6,500 KRW.
